Olesia Gololobova, PhD
Olesia obtained her Master's degree in Engineering and Physics from Bauman Moscow State Technical University (Russia). She completed her PhD program in Nanotechnology from the Joint Institute for High Temperatures in Moscow, Russia, in 2015. After a brief foray into the industry, she joined UNC Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy as a Research Specialist in 2017 and focused on development of nanomedicines for cancer treatment and application of different techniques for EV characterization.
Olesia joined the Witwer lab in the fall of 2020 as a postdoctoral fellow and will be working on novel methods to isolate and characterize EVs.
